Wally Magdangal

Pastor Wally Magdangal began serving God as a missionary and evangelist in 1975. He became a pioneer of secret Christian congregations in Saudi Arabia in 1982 and pastored one of the largest underground churches in the capital city of Riyadh. He also established and directed a secret Bible School and trained many men and women which are now serving as full-time pastors, evangelists and missionaries all over the world. His work in the underground church caused a great disturbance in the Muslim world and in October 1992 he was abducted, imprisoned and tortured by Islamic extremists for 70 days. Sentenced to death and scheduled for public hanging on Christmas Day, he never gave up his faith in Jesus Christ and was miraculously set free just in time. Since then, Pastor Wally has continued to proclaim the life changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world and challenge all believers to stand strong in the face of persecution.
